Brit Bike Night at Burger Continental - August 10, 2005

Dennis Crowley's early fifties custom BMW 'Bobber'. Cut down to the essence: peanut petrol tank, Bates headlamp, telescopic front end, Delorto carbs, polished engine cases, solo and pillion seats, no front mudguard, bobbed rear mudguard, period bell-end megaphone silencers, and sissy bar. Very few BMW Bobbers were created, this one appears to be a period conversion. Full feature on this bike by Reid Libby to appear in Free-2-Wheel. |
